Reporting to the Library Manager, the Library Assistant supports daily library operations and front-line service delivery. This role assists patrons with information services, technology access, programming support, and routine operational tasks while ensuring services are delivered in accordance with established policies and professional standards.
This is a Casual Position working 0-35 hours per week with no guarantee of hours. Applicant must be willing to work shifts in all three program areas. Hinton Kids for Success, Hinton Youth Centre, Family Resource Network (Hinton Family Centre).
Position Summary.
Reporting to the FCSS Assistant Manager, this position will primarily be responsible for overseeing the safety and wellbeing of children, youth, and families participating in FCSS programs by providing adequate supervision and creating positive relationships. These programs include Hinton Kids for Success, Hinton Youth Centre, and Hinton Family Resource Network-Hinton Family Centre. This position will include assisting with the implementation of programming and service needs for children, youth, and families within the Hinton community.
